Role and Specification – Experienced Consultant
Role overview
The primary objective of the role is to develop and build new business through effective client and candidate relationships within the IT contract marketplace to achieve agreed revenue targets and goals. This role reports into the Managing Director
Responsibilities:
Targets and goals:
· Achieving agreed personal targets and goals, working on both a short and long-term basis
· Ensuring minimum operational standards are maintained, including agreed activities to further Pioneer’s position in the marketplace
· Reporting financial and activity results to the Sales Manager on a weekly and monthly basis
Business Development:
· Win and develop new business in the contract or permanent SAP (or other ERP) market place
· Develop excellent client and candidate relationships and build key account opportunities
· Represent Pioneer at client meetings where appropriate to develop the business opportunity
· Manage and retain contractors and candidates to ensure revenue continuity
· Use a range of methods to acquire new candidates including advertising and networking
Person specification
Essential skills
· 2+ years in the IT recruitment industry
· Evidence of working within a non-PSL recruitment environment where the focus has been on delivering business into a range of new clients at good margins
· Excellent understanding of the IT recruitment market, the needs of clients and candidates and how to meet them
· Able to act as a role model in the office to junior staff through professional operational ability and practice
Desirable
· 3+ years in the recruitment industry
· 1+ year in ERP recruitment, ideally SAP
· European and UK SAP experience
