SharePoint 2010 Technical Consultant required by a successful, and growing IT Consultancy to further establish their SharePoint footprint in industry.
SharePoint Technical Consultant - Key Purpose
-Client facing role incorporating delivery of on-site consultancy and configuration of SharePoint systems
-Initial point of contact, therefore offering pre-sales support to the Sales team in addition to offering SharePoint support and training to all clients
-Evaluate/Document requirements and provide recommendations and documentation of proposed solutions
-Develop and deliver a proposed solution
-Work as an individual as well as within a team to mould the future direction of our clients SharePoint products and develop bespoke web parts, always following best practice
Key Responsibilities
-Representing our client as their expert in SharePoint world
-Provide pre-sales technical support on SharePoint opportunities
-Deliver resource estimates for training, development and implementation to support sales and bid activity
-Provide support and guidance for developers working on SharePoint projects
-Offer sound and correct technical advice and knowledge on the architecture and installation of SharePoint solutions
-Give on-site support for clients with SharePoint configurations as well as offering client training on deployed SharePoint solutions
-You will be expected to be client facing and deliver detailed and confident presentations to clients/prospective clients of the business
Person Specification
-An outgoing and engaging personality coupled with the ability to quickly strike up a rapport and put
Clients at ease
-A 'can do' attitude and an ability to foresee and overcome obstacles and with the attitude to 'go the extra mile' to achieve client satisfaction
-Able to work to demanding deadlines and time constraints and the natural pressure this would bring
-At least 2 years dedicated SharePoint project work
-Evidence of pro-actively leading projects, experience in giving presentations and delivering analytical consultancy
-Demonstrate a problem solving ethos and understanding where an issue may arise and need to be resolved
-Appreciation of the need to accurately quote and deliver SharePoint projects on time and within budgetary constraints
